Moondive Center

The team at Moondive Center are exactly the sort of people we love to dive with. They’re based in Cabo de Palos, right on the doorstep of the Islas Hormigas marine reserve, which is a big plus for convenience. Our favourite thing about diving with Moondive is their intimate knowledge of the wreck sites. They know exactly where the big groupers like to hang out on the *Naranjito* and the best way to approach the *SS Stanfield* to avoid the strongest currents. We’ve found their instructors to be patient and genuinely enthusiastic, whether you’re doing your PADI Open Water or just getting a refresher. We’d suggest going with them for early morning dives, especially on weekdays, to beat the crowds at the more popular spots. The visibility around the Hormigas can be astounding then, sometimes pushing 30 metres, and the light filtering through the water feels almost tangible as you descend. If you’re a wreck enthusiast or just someone who appreciates a friendly, well-run operation, Moondive Center is a solid choice.
