With 76+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, octopuses, sea turtles, sperm whales and cuttlefish - El Pajar Bay offers some of Canary Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 20-24°C, warmest August, September, October.
El Pajar Bay is a mellow shore dive, perfect for beginners or those getting back in the water. We usually find cuttlefish here, along with small rays tucked into the sand flats. It’s shallow, only ever reaching nine metres, so it’s a good spot for longer bottom times and practicing buoyancy. Expect an easy entry and exit, often with calm conditions.
