Go Diving - Canary Islands
Go Diving in Gran Canaria feels like a real local operation, which we love. They’ve got this big, comfortable dive boat, easily the most spacious we’ve seen around the island, and that makes a surprising difference on a full day out. It means no elbow-jostling for space when gearing up, and plenty of room to stretch out between dives while soaking up some sun. These guys really specialise in making your day on the water feel easy, perfect if you’re coming with family or just want to unwind without the usual dive shop hustle. The team at Go Diving are just genuinely good people, friendly and efficient without being pushy. They're a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, so you know the training is solid, but it’s their chilled-out vibe that really sets them apart. We’d especially recommend them for anyone looking to do their Advanced Open Water or even a full IDC; the instructors are patient and know the local sites inside out. Their boat usually gets you to some of the quieter spots, too, where you often find big schools of barracuda circling, or catch sight of a stingray gliding past in the sand. Try to get on an early trip; the visibility is often at its best before the winds pick up, and the light filtering through the water is just magical.
