With 76+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, octopuses, sea turtles, sperm whales and cuttlefish - Fonsalía offers some of Canary Islands's richest reef diving. Water ranges 20-24°C, warmest August, September, October.
Fonsalía offers a gentle introduction to diving in the Canaries, with a maximum depth of 14 metres. It’s a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed exploration. We’ve often seen octopus here, tucked into crevices, along with various smaller reef fish. Visibility tends to be decent, making for a pleasant, straightforward dive.
