Diveria Diving Center - Canary Islands
The team at Diveria Diving Center are the kind of people you want guiding you underwater. They’re based in Alcala, a quieter spot in Tenerife, which we really appreciate. It means less crowded boats and a more relaxed pace. What we love about Diveria is their commitment to small groups. You’re never just another diver in a herd, which is ideal whether you’re taking your first breaths on a Discover Scuba Dive or trying to nail that perfect buoyancy on your Open Water course. They specialise in making everyone feel comfortable and competent, which is crucial when you’re learning. Our pick for a perfect afternoon dive with them would be exploring some of the volcanic topography near Los Gigantes, maybe looking for an octopus tucked into a crevice or a stingray gliding over the sand. Visibility here can be excellent, often reaching 25 metres, and the water temperature is mild, usually around 20-24°C, even in winter. We'd suggest asking them about the best time of day to catch the light filtering through the archways – it’s a real treat. Plus, having equipment rental on site makes things wonderfully easy.
