SARAH - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the Sarah, you're looking at a real piece of history. This wooden sailing vessel, sunk in 1884 after a collision, lies scattered, her timbers providing a home for crabs and lobsters. It’s not a dramatic, intact wreck, more a gentle exploration of what time and the sea do to wood. We’ve found decent visibility here on a good day, allowing you to trace the remains of her hull and perhaps imagine her final voyage from Cardiff.
