RADINO (POSSIBLY) - Tyre

Radino, or what we believe is Radino, off the coast of Tyre, offers a surprisingly intimate wreck dive. It’s barely three metres deep, making it a perfect spot for divers who prefer to take their time, examining every nook and cranny. We love how accessible it is, sitting upright on a sandy bottom, its structure still largely intact despite the years. You'll find yourself exploring a compact motor vessel, its holds now open to the gentle surge, offering easy swim-throughs. Sunlight pierces the shallow water, illuminating schools of sardines that dart in and out of the rusted plating, creating shimmering curtains. Look closely, and you'll spot moray eels peeking from beneath twisted metal, and octopuses camouflaged against the barnacle-encrusted hull. The wreck feels alive, a true artificial reef. Our favourite time to dive it is late afternoon, when the sun casts long shadows and the colours of the sponges and soft corals that have colonised the wreck seem to glow. It’s a photographer’s dream, particularly for macro enthusiasts. Just watch for occasional fishing lines near the surface.
