Kicker Rock / Léon Dormido, San Cristobal, Galapagos - Galápagos Islands

Miniliths, just off Mafia, gets its name for a good reason. Think of it as Monoliths' slightly smaller, equally charming sibling. The reef here is a series of coral mounds and smaller rocky outcrops, all covered in healthy coral. We often see schools of surgeonfish, fusiliers, and unicornfish hanging out in the currents, and it’s not uncommon for a grouper or a barracuda to cruise past. Keep an eye out for turtles tucked into the coral; they love this spot. It’s a pretty relaxed dive, a solid pick for divers looking for healthy reef structure without needing to go too deep.
