SILVIA - Isla de la Plata

The Silvia wreck off Isla de la Plata is a decent dive, especially if you’re into a bit of history. She’s a 25-meter fishing vessel, went down in '88, and now sits upright at a good depth. We found schools of grunts and snappers hanging around the bridge structure, and the occasional turtle glides past the stern. The coral growth isn't spectacular, but there's enough soft coral and anemones to make it interesting. It’s a good spot for advanced divers looking for a relaxed wreck dive with a chance to see some reef sharks patrolling the perimeter.
