Jurelito - Morrocoy & Chichiriviche

Meditation Wall, on the western flank of the Poor Knights, really is a proper wall dive, and one we always look forward to. Drop in and you’re immediately enveloped by the sheer scale of the place. We love drifting along, looking at the riot of sponges and soft corals clinging to every surface, painting the rock in purples, oranges, and deep reds. Keep an eye out for green wrasse zipping between the fronds of kelp that top the wall to the north; they’re often busy feeding. It’s an easy drift, typically, with the current often pushing you gently along, making for a relaxed dive. Visibility averages 14 metres, which, for a wall this vibrant, feels like a window into another world. Look closely into the nooks and crannies; we’ve found some impressive moray eels peering out, and often spot crabs scuttling sideways. This site is brilliant for those who enjoy taking it slow, observing the small stuff, but also appreciate the grander canvas of a healthy wall. It's a classic Poor Knights experience.
