Sungai Kuantan - Redang Island

Sungai Kuantan is a shallow wreck, just a metre deep, making it an ideal spot for snorkelers and very new divers. The remains of the boat are scattered across the seabed, now heavily encrusted and home to a surprising number of small fish and crabs. We've seen juvenile snapper darting through the broken timbers and nudibranchs grazing on the coral growth. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving, perfect for building confidence in calm, clear conditions.
