Tu Sab - Soufriere-Scotts Head Marine Reserve

Mbigo Mbigo, a site so good they named it twice, earns its name. It’s about a 45-minute boat ride from Gizo, and worth the trip for the sheer scale of the reef. We drop down to around 24 meters, following a wall that’s carved with gullies and canyons. Here, the current often brings in the bigger stuff – we’ve seen trevally, barracuda, and Spanish mackerel cruise by. Even the first ten meters are pretty stunning, with formations that make it a great spot for snorkelers too. The hard corals are extensive, holding a good variety of reef fish. Visibility typically sits around 28 meters.
