Coconut Tree Divers - Roatán
The team at Coconut Tree Divers feels less like a dive shop and more like a family you just haven't met yet. We consistently send people their way because they strike that rare balance: incredibly professional, but also just genuinely good fun. They're a PADI 5-star IDC, which means serious business when it comes to teaching, from your very first Discover Scuba Dive right up through instructor levels and a comprehensive suite of TDI technical diving courses. We've always been impressed by the depth of knowledge amongst their instructors, especially for those looking to push into sidemount or advanced nitrox. We love that they’re right there in Half Moon Bay, a central spot in West End, making boat trips to the famous Roatán wrecks or the labyrinthine reef systems a breeze. Our favourite memory diving with them was a late afternoon trip to El Aguila, finishing the dive as the sun dipped, illuminating the wreck in a golden glow. It's an ideal pick if you want a dive operation that combines serious training options with a warm, welcoming vibe. Plus, their rental gear always feels well-maintained, which is a small but important detail.
