Le fer à cheval - Moorea & Tahiti

Le fer à cheval, or "The Horseshoe," is a dive site off Moorea that lives up to its name, forming a gentle curve in the reef. It’s a comfortable drift dive, often with a mild current, making it a good pick for those who prefer to relax and let the ocean do the work. We've seen oceanic manta rays glide through the blue here, along with schools of snapper hanging out in the more sheltered sections. Keep an eye on the sandy bottom for cloth-of-gold cone snails and the occasional small giant clam. It’s a solid, enjoyable dive, particularly nice on a sunny afternoon.
