Rotui - Moorea & Tahiti

Tanjung Gorua, just a 15-minute boat ride from Nabucco's Spice Island Resort, is a pretty coral garden on a tongue of reef at the northwest tip of Sali. It's a relatively sheltered spot, which is a nice change of pace if you've been battling currents elsewhere. Down to about 23 metres, we've found plenty to keep our eyes busy, especially the Blackbelly Pygmygoby, which is always a treat to spot among the corals. Look for the usual suspects too: shoals of fusiliers, bannerfish, and sometimes a blacktip reef shark cruising by. It’s a comfortable dive, perfect for a relaxed afternoon with good visibility, often around 24 metres.
