Emboodhoo Canyon - South Malé Atoll

Emboodhoo Canyon, in the South Malé Atoll, offers a pretty mellow cave experience down to 25 meters. It’s a great spot for newer divers looking to explore an overhead environment without anything too dramatic. We’ve always found it a gentle introduction, with plenty of light filtering in through the cracks and openings, illuminating the occasional sleeping nurse shark or a school of glassfish shimmering deeper inside. You can take your time here, really get comfortable with your buoyancy, and enjoy the quiet hush that comes with being inside the reef.
