Emmadi Giri (Manta Point) - South Malé Atoll

Emmadi Giri, often called Manta Point, gets its name from the seasonal aggregations of reef mantas that cruise this shallow reef. We’ve had some fantastic encounters here, watching them glide in for a clean, though it's not a guaranteed show every time. The reef itself is a pleasant dive, with good growth of wrinkle coral and various star corals, though it won't blow you away with dramatic topography. It’s a gentle drift or a comfortable anchorage dive, making it a good pick for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed experience with the potential for something special.
