Guraidhoo Lagoon - South Malé Atoll

Guraidhoo Lagoon is a real gentle introduction to Maldivian diving, perfect for those just getting their fins wet. We've spent a fair bit of time here with new divers, appreciating the calm, shallow water. You’ll find a sandy bottom dotted with small coral heads, home to plenty of little reef fish – think clownfish poking out of anemones, and the occasional juvenile reef shark cruising by. It’s a very relaxed dive, rarely deeper than 9m, so it’s an ideal spot for checking buoyancy or just enjoying a long, easy swim.
