Lang Giri - South Malé Atoll

Lang Giri is a quiet little pinnacle in South Malé. We've often found it a good spot for a relaxed drift, particularly if the currents elsewhere are a bit much. It’s not a showstopper like some of the bigger thilas, but we enjoy poking around the soft corals for the smaller stuff. Keep an eye out for the pygymygobies – Redlined, Palespot, Emery’s, and Large-eye are all here, often tucked into the crevices of the star and wrinkle corals. We’d suggest it for an easy second dive of the day, or for newer divers looking for a mellow introduction to Maldivian pinnacles.
