Rihiveli Wreck - South Malé Atoll
The Rihiveli Wreck is a decent little dive, perfect if you’re looking for a change from the usual reef drifts in South Malé. It’s a fishing trawler, sunk intentionally, now sitting upright on a sandy bottom. You can poke around the wheelhouse and the open cargo holds, which are often home to glassfish clouds and a few resident lionfish. Keep an eye out for moray eels tucked into the darker corners. It’s not a deep dive, making it a comfortable second or third dive of the day, and generally suitable for anyone comfortable with a bit of penetration into open spaces.
