Vaageli Faru Nord - South Malé Atoll

Vaageli Faru Nord is a solid drift dive when the current is running, giving you a chance to cruise over a decent stretch of reef in South Malé. We've often found ourselves eye-level with schools of snapper here, hugging the coral, as well as plenty of those smaller gobies like the Redlined and Emery's, if you take the time to really look close. It’s a site that rewards a slow pace, letting you soak in the details rather than chasing big pelagics. We’d suggest it for divers who appreciate the subtler beauty of the reef and don't mind a little current to keep things interesting.
