ScubaCaribe Mauritius - Flic en Flac & West Coast
The team at ScubaCaribe Mauritius are exactly the kind of crew you want when you’re diving the west coast. They run a slick operation, based right out of the hotels in Flic en Flac and Le Morne, which means no long transfers to get on the boat. We love their direct access to some cracking sites like the Cathedral, a swim-through archway that’s home to massive schools of snapper and the occasional reef shark gliding past. They’re a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, so if you’re looking to get certified or advance your skills, they’ve got you covered. What really stands out, though, is their local knowledge. We’ve been out with them to places like the Tug II wreck, a small fishing vessel sitting at 25 metres. It’s always buzzing with lionfish and moray eels, and if you go early, you might catch the morning current bringing in something larger. Their boats are spacious, and the guides have a knack for finding the smaller critters too, pointing out camouflaged scorpionfish or nudibranchs we'd otherwise swim right past. They’re excellent for groups, especially if you have varying experience levels, as they’re good at keeping everyone happy and safe.
