LADY MC CALLUM - Trincomalee & East Coast

The *Lady McCallum* is one of our favourite Trinco wrecks, a lovely old steamship that went down way back in 1926. She lies in just 12 metres, perfectly upright, and you can really get a sense of her history as you glide over her decks. We love following the outline of the hull, feeling the surge gently push us along. You’ll find schools of fusiliers here, darting in and out of the superstructure, sometimes so thick they almost block out the light. Look closely into the darker corners and you might spot a moray eel peering out. The coral growth isn't as dramatic as some of the deeper sites, but it's a wonderfully atmospheric dive, especially if you catch it on a calm day with good visibility. She’s an ideal dive for newer wreck enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys a relaxed exploration without strong currents to contend with.
