Diver's Cove - Balearic Islands
The team at Diver's Cove are exactly the kind of people we love diving with. They’re super laid back, but their operation runs like clockwork, which is a rare and beautiful thing. We think they’re especially great for divers who appreciate a personal touch, or those newer to the Balearics and looking for a friendly introduction to the local dive scene. We’ve spent a fair few days out with them, and what really stands out is their knack for finding the quieter spots, even in peak season. Our favourite dives usually started with a relaxed boat ride out past the headlands, the sun already warm on your face. Beneath the surface, the limestone topography is fantastic – think swim-throughs dappled with light and walls draped in colourful gorgonians. We remember one particular drift past a sea fan forest, watching barracuda cruise by, effortless. Keep an eye out for resident groupers peering out from rocky crevices. They’re PADI through and through, so you know the training is solid, and their rental gear is always well-maintained, no leaky regulators here. If you're looking for a dive centre that feels more like diving with friends than a commercial operation, Diver's Cove is our top pick.
