PICTA - Balearic Islands

The Picta wreck, just off Puerto Andratx, makes for an interesting shallow dive. Sunk back in '71 after a fire, this yacht sits upright in just six metres of water. We found it's a great spot for an extended poke around; the hull is well broken now, letting you peek into the internal structure. Schools of damselfish flit amongst the ribs and we’ve seen small octopuses tucked into crevices. It’s perfect for newer divers, or anyone keen on a relaxed second dive, with calm conditions most of the year.
