SANTA (POSSIBLY) - Balearic Islands

The Santa, a 25-meter fishing vessel, rests upright at 47 meters. She was built in 1947 as the Isla Santa Clara, then renamed Santa in 1982, ultimately apprehended for smuggling the following year. It’s a proper deep dive, best suited for experienced technical divers comfortable with the depth and potential currents. We've found the wheelhouse largely intact, and the stern section holds the most interest, particularly the prop. Around the wreck, we often see large schools of barracuda circling, and the occasional sunfish might pass by in the blue. Keep an eye out for conger eels peering from dark nooks in the hull.
