Playa Los Cristianos is a chilled out entry point, perfect for those just getting their fins wet. With a maximum depth of 11m, it's pretty forgiving, making it a solid spot for check dives or getting comfortable with your buoyancy again. You’ll find a mix of rocky patches and sandy bottoms, usually with plenty of smaller fish flitting about – think wrasse, bream, and gobies. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but for a relaxed afternoon exploring the shallows, it certainly does the trick. Plus, the easy access from the beach means no boat faff, which we always appreciate.
