Aqua-Marina - Canary Islands

The team at Aqua-Marina are a real find if you’re looking to get serious about your diving, or just want a solid, no-fuss operation for fun dives in the Canaries. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, which means they’re geared up to take you from beginner all the way to instructor, and they do it with a really friendly, professional touch. We’ve always appreciated their calm approach, especially when guiding newer divers around some of Tenerife’s more exciting spots. What we really love about Aqua-Marina is their local knowledge. They know the currents, the best times to hit a site before the crowds, and where to spot those sneaky angel sharks tucked into the sand. We’d suggest asking them about a morning trip to El Condesito wreck; the way the light filters through the superstructure around 10 am is just beautiful, and the resident barracuda school often makes an appearance. They’re also great at tailoring dives; if you tell them you’re really into nudibranchs, they’ll put you with a guide who knows exactly where to look. It’s that personal touch that makes them stand out.
