Sa Caleta Tenerife - Canary Islands
The team at Sa Caleta Tenerife are some of the most genuinely enthusiastic divers you’ll meet. We love their energy, which makes even a simple shore dive feel like an expedition. They’re a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, so you know the training is solid, but it's the personal touch that makes them stand out. If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe with guides who know the local spots inside out, this is your place. Our favourite site with them is El Puertito. It’s a gentle entry right off a small beach. The main attraction? The green turtles. We’ve spent whole dives just watching them graze on the seagrass, completely unbothered by our presence. Further out, towards the sandy patches, look for the angel sharks resting on the bottom – they blend in so well you need a keen eye. We’ve also seen torpedo rays here, huge discs gliding effortlessly. The visibility often hits 20 metres, making it easy to spot creatures. Go in the morning before it gets too busy, that’s our tip. It’s a calm, easy dive, perfect for warming up or for less experienced divers wanting to see big stuff without big currents.
