Dykning.net AB - West Coast (Gothenburg)

The team at Dykning.net AB in Gothenburg really are your go-to for diving the Swedish West Coast. We love how focused they are on developing divers, especially with their PADI 5 Star IDC setup. If you're serious about taking your diving further, whether that’s through instructor training or just pushing past your recreational limits, these are the folks to talk to. They’re fantastic for anyone looking to make diving a bigger part of their life, not just a holiday hobby. We’ve always found their local knowledge invaluable for navigating the often-chilly, but surprisingly clear, waters of the Kattegat and Skagerrak. Expect cold water diving, yes, but also some absolutely stunning wreck dives and unique wall dives draped in colourful soft corals that thrive in the nutrient-rich currents. Our favourite tip for diving out here: invest in good drysuit gloves. Your hands will thank you. The visibility can vary, but on a good day, it’s a real eye-opener, especially exploring some of the older fishing boat wrecks scattered around the archipelago. You’ll often spot schools of saithe, cod, and plenty of feisty crabs scuttling over the rocks. It’s a different kind of beauty than the tropics, more rugged and rewarding.
