EPSILON - Cornwall & Devon

The *Epsilon* offers a solid, if not spectacular, dive into Cornish maritime history. This steamship went down in 1917, now resting at a comfortable 20 metres, making it accessible for most open water divers with some wreck experience. What you find here are the bones of a large vessel, 101 metres long, with two prominent boilers that really catch the eye, along with the triple expansion engine. The wreck itself is quite broken up in places, but you can still get a feel for its scale, and it’s a good spot to practise your navigation skills around a larger structure. We often find the usual suspects here: plenty of wrasse darting through the plates, conger eels tucked into any available crevice, and the occasional lobster patrolling the seabed nearby. It's a proper British wreck dive, rugged and full of character.
