FIFE COAST (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon

The Fife Coast is a proper historical dive, one we think offers a real sense of a moment frozen in time. She was torpedoed by a German E-boat in 1940, and you can still feel that history when you descend. We love how intact she is for a wartime wreck; at 58 metres, she’s a dive for experienced technical teams, but the rewards are significant. You’ll find the bow section relatively upright, though the stern is more broken. We often see conger eels tucked into the machinery and around the collapsed decking, and the whole structure is covered in plumose anemones, their white tentacles swaying gently in the current. It’s a dark site, naturally, but your torch beam picks out the details beautifully, revealing the ship’s structure and the colourful invertebrate life that calls it home. This isn’t a rummage wreck; it’s about appreciating the history and the atmosphere.
