HMS Keryado - Cornwall & Devon

Duncan's Wreck sits off the coast, a proper steel skeleton now, broken but still impressive. We love how the wreck isn't just a heap of metal; there's real structure to explore, with cargo holds that invite a peek and a deck that’s become home to a surprising amount of fish. You’ll find groupers lurking in the shadows and a scattering of smaller blennies and gudgeons making their homes among the twisted beams. It’s not the most famous wreck in the world, but it has a quiet charm. What makes Duncan's special is that it feels a bit wild, less picked over than some other wreck sites. The visibility can be variable, sometimes a glorious 20 meters, other times a moodier 10, which only adds to the atmosphere. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light filtering through the water onto the wreck is simply magic, especially when a school of fusiliers decides to sweep past, briefly blocking out the sun. It's a dive that rewards a slow approach, letting you soak in the history and the unexpected marine life that has claimed this old ship.
