JORDAN A - Cornwall & Devon

The *Jordan A* is a relatively recent addition to the Cornish wreck scene, sinking in October 2020. We’ve always had a soft spot for these newer wrecks, watching them transform from industrial metal to marine apartment blocks. Dropping onto the deck at 37m, you’re immediately struck by how intact she is. The wheelhouse is still there, eerily complete, and you can swim around much of the superstructure. What we really love about the *Jordan A* is the speed at which life has taken hold. Already, the deck is fuzzy with juvenile anemones and hydroids, and we’ve seen some decent-sized pollack lurking in the shadowy holds. Keep an eye out for conger eels too; they’re quick to claim new territory. This wreck is perfect for divers comfortable at depth, offering a genuine sense of exploration rather than just a quick look. Our best tip? Go on a calm day; the visibility can be excellent, giving you time to appreciate the *Jordan A*’s evolving character.
