LADY KINGSWOOD - Cornwall & Devon

The Lady Kingswood, resting deep at 53 metres, is a serious dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. This fishing vessel went down in '85, and she's settled upright, largely intact, which we love. Descending onto her deck, you’ll find nets still draped over sections, creating a ghostly, almost time-capsule feel. We’d suggest focusing your torch on the stern, where the prop is often visible, a real indicator of the scale. Look for the resident conger eels, they’re usually tucked into the deeper holds, watching you with that characteristic wary stare. The hull is now a tapestry of jewel anemones and dead man’s fingers, their vibrant colours a stark contrast to the dark steel. This isn't a dive for beginners, the depth and potential for current demand good trim and gas management, but for those with the training, it’s a genuinely rewarding piece of history.
