The Siren wreck, off the coast of Cornwall, is a serious dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. Resting at 59 metres, this iron-built full-rigged ship went down in 1896 after a collision, leaving behind a substantial structure. We’ve found the bow section to be particularly intact, with the stern more broken up, though both offer plenty to explore for those with the right training and gas. You'll likely encounter conger eels lurking in the deeper sections, and spider crabs often carpet the deck plating. The visibility can be challenging, as is typical for the area, so we always plan for lower light and current. Dive this one when the conditions align, and you’ll find a fascinating piece of maritime history.
