    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Dropping onto the TELA, you’re met with the ghostly silhouette of a steamship, resting upright at 45 metres. It’s a proper historical dive, the wreck itself a testament to wartime U-boat activity in the Channel. We've found the bow section to be particularly intriguing, often home to decent-sized conger eels peeking from beneath twisted plates. While the deeper water and potential for current mean it’s best for experienced wreck divers, the historical context and the sheer size of the vessel make it a compelling exploration. Visibility can vary, as it often does in these waters, but on a good day, the TELA offers a real sense of journeying back in time.
