    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The U 90, a WWI German U-boat, lies upright on the seabed at 26 metres, making it an accessible submarine dive for those with some experience in UK waters. We’ve found the stern section to be the most intact, with the torpedo tubes still discernible, often housing conger eels. Life here isn’t about colourful corals, but rather the hardier anemones, sponges, and crabs that thrive on the metal hull, adding texture to the dark steel. Penetration isn’t really an option, given its 'Dangerous Wreck' status, but there's plenty to explore externally, following the wreck from bow to stern. It’s a dive that rewards slow exploration, letting your eyes adjust to the nuances of the wreck and its inhabitants.
