WARRINGTON - Cornwall & Devon

The Warrington is a proper gem, a wreck dive that consistently delivers, even at its shallow three-meter depth. We've spent many an hour poking around her ribs and plating, and she always offers something new. She’s surprisingly intact for a wreck of her age, which means plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into. You’ll find schools of juvenile pollack zipping through the gaps, and the resident wrasse are always curious, often coming right up to your mask. It's a fantastic site for newer divers looking to get their first taste of wreck diving without any major depth concerns, but equally, it's our favourite spot for a long, relaxed second dive. The way the light plays through the kelp-draped remains on a sunny day is just magical. Visibility here can vary, but generally, when it’s good, it’s really good – you can often see the entire wreck spread out beneath you. Keep an eye out for dogfish tucked into the sand nearby, too. We’d suggest timing your dive around slack water for the best experience, as currents can pick up a bit.
