BAMBA - Scottish West Coast

The BAMBA, a small yacht that went down in 1982 after a fire, lies shallow on the Scottish West Coast. It’s barely two metres deep, which makes it perfect for a relaxed snorkel or a very long shallow dive if you’re looking to extend your bottom time. What we love about these small wrecks, especially in cooler waters, is how quickly they become homes. You’ll likely spot plenty of wrasse darting in and out of the twisted metal, and the hull often has a surprising amount of anemones clinging on. It’s not a grand wreck adventure, but it’s a peaceful spot for macro enthusiasts or those wanting a gentle introduction to wreck diving.
