Eagle Divers NI - Scottish West Coast
Eagle Divers NI, despite the name, really shines on the Scottish West Coast. We know, we know, the name hints otherwise, but they’ve made this stretch of colder water their home. For anyone looking to get serious about UK diving, especially if you’re keen on drysuit progression, these are your people. They run PADI courses, naturally, but it’s their real-world application in these often-challenging conditions that sets them apart. We’ve had some fantastic weekends with the team, kitting up by the lochside, feeling that crisp, clean air bite before the immersion. They’re brilliant at making sure everyone feels comfortable, whether you're taking your first steps into drysuit diving or just want some local guidance on the wreck of the Hispania. What we really appreciate is their no-nonsense approach; it’s about safe, fun diving, without any unnecessary fuss. They’ll share the best spots for seeing those elusive conger eels or pointing out where the vibrant jewel anemones cling to the walls. Our favourite tip from them was hitting the small inlets at high tide for calmer conditions and better light penetration – makes a real difference to the visibility in those sheltered spots. If you’re based in Northern Ireland or just fancy a proper Scottish diving adventure, definitely give them a shout.
