BEAGLE - Scottish West Coast

Diving the Beagle on Scotland's West Coast feels like stepping back into maritime history. This steamship, sunk in 1865 after a collision with the SS Napoli, lies at 32 metres, making it a dive for those comfortable with deeper wrecks and often chilly UK conditions. We found the wreck still quite intact, with the bow section being particularly photogenic, draped in dead man's fingers and home to plenty of wrasse darting in and out of the plating. It's a sombre, atmospheric dive, offering a proper sense of exploration rather than a brightly coloured reef. Just be prepared for potential currents and bring a good torch; it’s a dark site, even on a sunny day.
