CLEMENTINE - Scottish West Coast

The Clementine, she’s a beauty, sitting shallow and broken on the seabed, just six meters down. We love how accessible this wreck is, perfect for an extended rummage without deep deco obligations. What’s left of her hull is wonderfully mangled, a jumble of twisted metal and wooden timbers that create a maze of swim-throughs and hidey-holes. You’ll spend most of your dive poking into every crevice, looking for the crabs and blennies that have made it home. We always suggest taking your time here, letting your eyes adjust to the gloom beneath the overhangs. The light, even on a bright day, filters down in broken shafts, giving the whole site a wonderfully atmospheric feel. It’s not about big pelagics here, it’s about the intimacy of a well-colonised wreck. Ideal for those who enjoy a bit of history with their macro life.
