HENRIETTA MOLLER - Scottish West Coast

The Henrietta Moller is a proper Scottish wreck, not too deep, but with all the atmosphere you could ask for. Lying in just 9m, it's easily accessible and perfect for extended bottom times, allowing you to really soak it all in. We love how the strong currents and rich nutrient flow have absolutely plastered the tug with life. You'll find yourself drifting through forests of plumose anemones, their white tentacles reaching out into the green water, and the metalwork is thick with dead man's fingers. She's an impressive wreck, fairly intact, with plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into. Look out for the resident wrasse darting between the plates, and we often spot conger eels tucked away in the darker sections. The exposed location means visibility can vary, but on a good day, the light penetrating the shallows really highlights the vibrant colours of the invertebrate growth. It's a fantastic site for photographers, especially macro enthusiasts, and a great introduction to Scottish wreck diving without the usual deep-water commitment. We’d suggest timing your dive for slack water to truly appreciate the intricate details of the wreck and its inhabitants.
