HINDE - Scottish West Coast

The Hinde, a small coaster that went down in 1905, sits upright and largely intact in just two metres of water, making it a cracking shallow dive. Even with a snorkel, you can trace the outline of its hull, the bow and stern still well-defined. We've seen conger eels tucked into crevices, and the metalwork itself is a lovely rust-red canvas for anemones and hydroids, particularly colourful in the right light. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving, perfect for less experienced divers or anyone just wanting a relaxed dip to explore a piece of history.
