ROSEBUD II - Scottish West Coast

Diving the *Rosebud II* off the Scottish West Coast offers a different kind of wreck dive, a more sombre experience. This wooden fishing vessel, lost in 1970 with all seven hands, sits broken up at around 20 metres. You won't find an intact hull, but rather scattered wreckage, each piece a small habitat. We've seen conger eels tucked into sections of the timber, and nudibranchs grazing on the encrusting life that's colonised the structure. It’s a dive for those who appreciate history and the quiet beauty of a site reclaimed by the sea. Visibility can be a factor here, so picking a calm day is key.
