ROYAL SCOT - Scottish West Coast

The Royal Scot, a fishing vessel that went down in 1981, sits upright on the seabed at 40 metres. She's a smaller wreck, only 12.2 metres long, but that just means more time to really explore her. You can poke around the wheelhouse, still largely intact, and peer into the hold where you'll often spot some respectable-sized conger eels eyeing you back. For a deeper dive on Scotland's west coast, she’s a solid pick for experienced divers who appreciate character over size. Expect some decent current here, depending on the tide, but that just keeps the water moving and brings in the fish.
