SOLWAY FIRTH - Scottish West Coast

Diving the Solway Firth means heading for a proper British wreck dive, generally with some chill in the water. We're talking about a 16.2m fishing vessel, sunk back in '77. She’s sitting upright at 37m and while the visibility can be a bit of a lottery, when it’s good you can make out the whole profile. Expect to see plenty of wrasse and inquisitive pollack making their home in the wreckage, plus decent plumose anemones waving from any available surface. It’s a good one for divers with some experience in deeper, darker water who appreciate a bit of local history and a quiet dive.
