SUNBIRD - Scottish West Coast

The Sunbird, a fishing vessel that ran aground and sank back in '85, is a neat little dive on the Scottish West Coast. We find her fairly intact, sitting upright, with her wheelhouse still recognisable, making for some easy penetration if you're comfortable. She's only 12.2 metres long, so you can circle the whole wreck in one dive, spotting squat lobsters tucked into crevices and anemones clinging to the hull. It's a great spot for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed exploration, especially when the visibility is good.
