SWAN (PROBABLY) - Scottish West Coast

Diving the Swan, or what we’re fairly sure is the Swan, on Scotland’s west coast is a trip back in time. This sailing vessel sank in a violent storm way back in 1653, and while the wreck itself is well broken up, it’s the historical context that really grabs you. Lying at just 10 metres, it’s a site that's accessible for most divers, offering a chance to poke around timbers and imagine the conditions that sent her down. You’ll find plenty of crabs tucked into crevices and various fish darting amongst the wreckage, making it a good spot for a relaxed exploratory dive with a story.
